Inspire Trust in cooperation with Usha Sardesai started a Community Awareness Program (CAP) with 3 different Societies in Fartorda to promote recycling among kids. The Societies were identified by Usha Sardesai.
We aim to show the kids, how we can re-use, recycle and reduce from our everyday life.
Further aims are:
• to support development of creative skills/thinking
• to create awareness for environmental issues
• to help understand the impact every person has on our environment
Inspire Trust is conducting 3 Workshops at each society from 11th of May to the 29th of May
1st week: TETRA PACKS – Make your own recycled wallet!
2nd week: JARS – Make your own lantern!
3rd week: FABRIC – Make your own bag!
CAP also includes a talk by Clinton Vaz from vRecycle about garbage segregation.
Thanks to our Volunteers:
Bharati and Malaika for your great support!
Thanks Usha to get us involved.
